GameChanger
A child in a hospital playroom, controller raised, immersed in a game — joy, not pity

Give a kid their game night back.

A hospital bed doesn't have to mean a night without play. $25 puts a stack of games in a kid's hands tonight — through the world's only networked hospital game system. Play is the medicine you can give.

Give the way that's smartest for you.

Cash isn't the only path. A donor-advised fund, appreciated stock, crypto, or a wire can be a more tax-efficient way to send play to a bedside — and for larger gifts, often the better one.

Grant from your DAF

Recommend a grant to GameChanger directly from your donor-advised fund. Use our legal name GameChanger Charity and EIN 26-3438815 — we'll confirm receipt and put it to work right away.

Give appreciated stock

Donating long-held appreciated stock can let you avoid capital-gains tax and deduct the full fair-market value. Request transfer instructions for your broker.

Give cryptocurrency

A gift of appreciated crypto can be a tax-efficient way to give at scale. Ask us for current crypto-giving details.

Send a wire or check

For larger cash gifts, a bank wire or mailed check keeps every dollar working. Email donate@gamechangercharity.org for banking details and our mailing address.

Start a creator fundraiser.

Streamers move mountains for these kids. Run a Tiltify campaign on Twitch, join MineChanger, or play during Gaming for Good Month — every dollar you raise turns into games at a bedside.

Donor questions.

Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes. GameChanger Charity is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 26-3438815), based in Dana Point, California, tax-exempt since 2009. Donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
Will I get a receipt?
Yes — an emailed receipt is sent immediately after your gift, with everything you need for your taxes. Monthly Continue Club members also receive a year-end summary.
How much of my gift actually reaches kids?
96% of every dollar goes to the mission, and an independent audit is currently underway.
Can I give monthly instead of once?
Absolutely — that's the Continue Club. Flip the "make it monthly" switch above and your gift becomes a recurring one. Monthly support is the single most valuable thing for the kids, because it means a console is always ready. You can cancel anytime.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. Giving is processed through Stripe with bank-grade encryption. GameChanger never sees or stores your full card details.
Can my employer match my gift?
Very likely. Many employers match employee donations through Benevity — search "GameChanger Charity" and use EIN 26-3438815. If your company is on a different platform, our corporate team can help.
What if I want to give in-kind, or make a major gift?
For donated games, hardware or digital codes, visit donate product. For a major gift, DAF grant or pledge above $50,000, talk with Jim & Taylor directly — they'd love to.
